My son-in-law has renewed his interest in a 928
I suggested because he lives in LA that a late model
4speed auto would be most livable on the LA freeways
His budget is 10 to 14k
Van

VIN WP0JB0926HS862044
Read the carfax, started out for about 10 years in HI, then CA and VA, sold back in Mar 2011 for $10,890. and appears to have been sold twice since, once at a dealer auction.
I would use serious caution.

For what it's worth, folks get freaked out about corrsion issues here in HI, but my S4, which has been here its whole life, has none. Needs a intake referesh and paint, but no corrosion.

I think it depends on the location and prevailing wind, less than 5 miles or so from the ocean and normally on shore breeze and the rust monster comes alive.
HI doesn't concern me so much on this car as the recent dealer sales history, still might be fine, PPI the final word etc.
