I bought a 1962 Corvette with the bad-*** fuel injected engine. Eventually sold it to buy a station wagon and built our first home. Wonder what that car would be worth now.
Barry- I got to be the caretaker of the '62 below for a couple of years, belonged to my wife's boss. Not a fuelie, but the 340 horse solid lifter motor. He sold it in 2007 before the crash, as it happens I googled its VIN the other day and it's for sale again - $69K. I'd bet your fuelie is closer to a six-figure car now....

The 928 is a significantly better driver's car.... .

I can see your place from my parent's front porch.

Actually, when you go from Detroit to Windsor you are also going South to Canada!

There is a Fuel Injected Vette at a local "high-end used car" dealer - Nelson (I think), in Marysville, OH. The price tag is $250K... Not sure if its worth it (had an oil leak underneath), but it sure was pretty

Barney,
Thanks for the intro.

My uncle worked on the LM for Grumman, enviornmental systems and landing gear. Masters in EE and ME.

Shame the F-14 was replaced by the F-18 lawn dart. I'm an E-2 guy and grew up in CT.

If the TB tension light has been on since the belt was changed either is wasn't reconnected or may be broken. Look at figure 12 of the link Walley posted for the wiring connector location.

I hope I'm crawling around my car at 76!

Lots of knowledge and help here, without it most would not be able to maintan our cars.

Cheers,
