Hey Bob!

I am leaning towards having the event but it depends on the level of enthusiasm and participation I sense at announcement time. Maybe I should test the waters now and see what kind of interest we would have. I did tell the hill climb guys that I brought more cars to the event than they did.....step it up a little !

Tass would love to see that car at the PVGP - there will be a field of some of the most special and interesting 928s in the country, and your would be a major addition. I always loved that yellow car, and the wheels too!

Well, she is here

The tires on the yellow wheels are pretty much dead so I swapped on this set of D90's and some spacers in the rear. I think it is a big improvement. She runs really well and has a fresh timing belt service, 5spd rebuild with clutch and a new windshield.
The color is "Bluten Gelb" (sp?) or Blossom yellow. No time to play with it in my near future but I'm happy with it.

She will be here for the Wilbraham Hill Climb event so come and check it out!

That looks incredible. Congrats. And the D90s work well on the S body IMO. Killer!

Thanks Nate I grabbed it because I have known this car for about 25 years and it was to good to pass up. Now that it is in my garage, the color is really growing on me.

Beautiful! My daughter's favorite color. Good luck with it, and the wheels look so much better. Even though the painted yellow wheels were probably nicely done, they give the impression that someone just sprayed the whole car. The silver wheels make the body look better.

Any chance of getting this beauty on the lawn of Schenley Park for the PVGP 40th anniversary of the 928?

Thanks guys I can't take any credit for the color or the condition but I'm very happy to own it.

I would love to but right now the car is a couple small steps short of being ready for the street. It came to me with the punkin' muffler in a box. It needs a new pipe from the cat to the muff. I also have an A/C compressor that I need to install. Then I still need to time to register and get a state inspection.

The hillclimb event gobbled up my 928 time allotment for a bit so I need to attend to other things before I dig into this car.

Thanks for the invite..I do plan to show up at more events in the future.

That car is magnificent. It would be mine if I had the resources...

I'm actually considering dropping one of my projects cars and getting into this car myself. I figured if I offered it up here someone might grab it and take the temptation away.
