Yellow 1982 5 speed for sale

The color is not really captured well in that light.....here is a picture from a past wilbraham event that shows the true color.
I'm actually considering dropping one of my projects cars and getting into this car myself. I figured if I offered it up here someone might grab it and take the temptation away.

Its nice to see a car so well prepared and well presented for a sale. So often folks are careless and don't clean the car or take poor photos. A great chance to own a unique and well cared for 928, I would say.

Sold !
The 2011 sale attempt was a reluctant effort and the owner decided to keep it. Last week I caught it at the curb with for sale sign on it. Kept thinking about it and finally caved and called him. Most of the needed maintenance listed in 2011 has since been completed and he has been driving it as a second car the whole time.
I always like this car, just not a fan of the color matched wheels so I'll be changing them out for a set of phone dials with rear spacers. Another option might be the set of polished club sports I have. In any case, I intend to use up something I already own.
My goal was to diversify a bit but it looks like I'm back to holding four 928's again. I'm still chasing my very first 928 that I would love to have back but so far, not for sale. If I can get that one back, I'll call my 928 fleet complete (for good !).

True......
I've had as many as 6 at a time but felt the need to try something else and got into hotrods etc. Now I'm watching the prices creep up to acceptable levels and I think a well-bought 928 is an OK thing to hold and enjoy. After 27 years of 928 ownership, I'd hate to miss the boat when the prices finally started to rise

Just starting again at the beginning of the thread, thinking that this would be such a bargain for anyone looking for another 928. This one is actually just a few $k from easily being a $10k+ car, rather than the inverse. I do love the yellow, but agree that the yellow wheels are a bit to far, at least for me. FWIW, this yellow is a candidate for a set of the elusive 18" phone dials from Jim. Both strong appearance statements.
Seats and rugs, and some dash an pod refurb work would push this one close to the top.

A few bolt on / in cosmetic items is the easy part....fun even. I'm pretty happy with it.

Tass, good to here from you! The Hill Climb event was a lot of fun, please keep us updated if it is going to happen again.
Also if you can make the PVGP that would be great.
