PPI in San Antonio

I just moved here from San Antonio. Jones' has been in business for 20+ years that I know of; I don't know a shop that would do a better PPI in the area. They have one guy that works only on the water cooled 924s/944s/928s. When I took my GTS there for an alignment, they said it was the 4th or 5th they had worked on--got the feeling they knew all the GTS owners. The only drag--they're not cheap, but probably cheaper than the Porsche dealer. You may want to contact the guys on the Longhorn PCA chapter (google search it) to to see if they could recommend some other place--but I think most would swear by Jones. They're up on Iota drive close to the airport.
I never saw another GTS at the monthly cars-and-rides at Panera bread or at any PCA meetings; not sure where this one was hiding. Good luck!!

If it is the red GTS you are looking at you probably just need to get hold of Sean. He did significant work on the car before the new owner got it less than 18 months ago. I suspect the car has hardly been driving and probably just a quick eyes on to be sure all is there, that it runs well, and that it has not dents/nicks/scratches, etc is all that you likely need.
My first 928 ('88 S4) was cared for by Jones' and they did a poor job with the car at best... BTW, I think they have been in business more like 40 years!

I've been going to Jones AutoWerks since 2005...1st with my 944, then with my 928 (928 since 2010).
These guys are the real deal! They are very passionate about what they do. If there is a goof, they are more upset about it then you will be. Don't expect a coffee bar, massage chairs and lemon tea...do expect your car to be fixed right and at a very fair price.
I have nothing but respect for this place and their workers. I also can't convey how much their collective experience will add to the value of their service.
Do keep in mind (due to their popularity among enthusiasts) that you'll need to make appts. "in advance".

They'd been around for quite some time already in 1987, when they did a great job rebuilding the motor of my new to me 1977 911S. It ran OK, but was a leaky, oily, loose mess with the head stud issues endemic to that vintage.
It ran better after they fixed it, and never leaked or seeped a drop over the next 40k miles of daily driving in Texas.
Not cheap, but well amortized.
