Default New Oil Leak

So after doing my head gasket job and installing the engine one of the oil galley plugs is leaking. Of course it is the back lower one on the driver's side against the firewall.

I have posted a poll to see what you guys think I should do.

I suggest doing it the right way, this means pulling the engine, so you do not have to remove the head.

I can probably live with it til winter. It drips about every 10 seconds, maybe 20 when engine is idling. Enough to make smoke be annoying. Of course it falls right on the exhaust.

Well since you have swapped them out twice.
I would suggest to clean the surface very well then put some JB weld in the hole,
put some tape over the weld so it wont run out.
This will keep the oil from causing other damage till you can pull the engine out and fix it .
Otherwise its not really a critical leak and the JB weld may keep it dry then you can leave the engine in place.
I would be more worried about the hole being enlarged from the removal of the plugs a few times and thus bigger issues once you figure that out

Big fire hazard, fix it before you burn your car down.

Or rig up a deflector to carry oil drips away from the exhaust. Fix is better tho by far.

So when I put the plugs back in how do I ensure they won't leak again ? I put loctite 574 on when I put them in when the engine was out. Do I just put more on than I did? Is there something else I should be sealing these plugs with when I put them in?

I would use hondabond 4 instead of the 574,
my bet is that there is score line in the hole thus the 574 wont work for that type of gap

I think I remember reading you can see 5 psi in the oil galleys. I am gonna see if my Honda motorcycle dealer carries Hondabond 4HT.

sorry the Hondabond wont work now,
you would put a dab of HB on the plug then insert it.

BUT for now ,
JB weld would be the best bet unless you wanna pull the engine

Ok. Gonna pull engine Sunday, fix the plug and put it back in. Very bummed but oh well. Got a tube of Hondabond 4HT coming from Honda motorcycle shop. I can tell you it won't leak when I put it back in!
