Default just dusted a 2009 bmw m5

I cant believe the power of greg's latest creation, we were going 45 mph and the competition was on and I dare say after 1\2 mile I was one car length ahead and way into triple digits.....just remembering makes this old man tremble with pleasure. any way the v1 went off soon there after and we slowed way down and I even got a thumbs up from my little brother (owner of the m5) pretty awesome ( but in all fairness the gts has 100 more hp than the m5.

just thought I would share...

thanks for reading

Andy,

I hope you have many more enjoyable experiences driving your "new" machine- I'm not a person prone to envy but I just detected a tinge of green in the mirror whilst shaving! Hopefully you can post a dyno run [if you have not done so already?].

thanks fred,

I hope to tune it for race gas if all goes well and I can learn how to program the link g 4 brain...Greg has encouraged me that it is not too difficult so I will give it a try . I am afraid all the fun will come to an end and the entire suspension with rip apart...hope not anyway..

It really will only be opened wide for the ORR...but not for a while as I need more experience with the ORR....I have follow Jorj and tahoe shark for yrs now !!

Andy,

Just get to know the car progressively in a controlled manner and ensure that brakes, tires and suspension are up to the power on tap. As you have a GTS chassis that is a good start. I am sure Jorg will give you lots of good advice.

Andy, you best bring that thing over here to Olathe and let me look at it while there is still rubber on the rear.

Andy, your stroker is at 600hp? Or is your brothers car a '99?

97 crank hp more than an E60 M5 with Devek headers, 102 hp more with GB headers. This plot was the baseline for all the subsequent tuning that Greg did so there may be a couple extra hp in there somewhere. I'm not sure whether Greg ever took the whole car over to the dyno place to see what the rwhp was.

Andy, I've been waiting for this sort of 'kill' story from you.

That's an easy 425 to 435 at the wheels if its an automatic, more if its a 5 speed.......and that's stroker RWHP!!! Different.

NICE! I didn't know that some of the strokers were pushing that kind of power!
