New addition to the “Man Cave”
This is the engine block that we dismantled at “Sharks in Hell” last month. I thought it would make a good addition to the man cave as a wine rack/coffee table. I wanted a glass top that was about a foot shorter, but I found this one sitting in the corner of our basement, so the price was right. Now before all the wine connoisseurs (Chaad) chime in, yes the bottles are the wrong way up to keep the cork from drying out. I can put them in upside down, but it doesn’t look as good. My solution is to just drink them quicker so they don’t dry out.

Very cool, I love it!
I have a block I plan to do the same thing with.
I think you need a way to circulate some cool water through the block to keep the wine cool.

You need 40oz's in there. Not wine.

Hmmm. I don't know many 928ers. But I imagined them to be more beer drinkers than wine drinkers.
:-)
Of course, no doubt cool table!

Prolly need to get a block for a V12 jag, so you can put beers.

I think getting water to circulate through there would be tough with the giant hole in the block on the side.

Very nice. If you drink the wine fast enough you won’t have to worry about the corks drying out.

You could put some hookah pipes on the water jackets and "weed" in the oil pan and have a real party Sorry... having a flashback to the 70's.
