Yes, it was flat bedded some 300 miles, to me last year for some work. Everything recommended was not done but this is a nice GT. Jarrod, you know this one and we saved it.

It needs motor mounts and a pan gasket, but otherwise it is a very nice GT.

I was waiting to see if Sean posted before commenting further. Although I have no affiliation with the seller, I did talk to him last year when he needed a reference for an expert 928 mechanic. After referring him to Sean, I had the opportunity to see this car in person a week or so later (early December 2010) when I took my car down to Sean's for service. It looked like a very nice example and the owner was a pleasant guy to talk to. As I recall, he's owned a number of 928's through the years. If I were in the market for a nice GT, this would definitely be on my list.

Ok, since my name is tied to this one, here's what I know.

The car is damn sweet. It is a GT, I did do the timing belt and water pump job. What it needs now is a motor mount job. The car ended up in my hands after a shop in OK could not figure out why it had a vibration issue. This vibration issue was so bad that the shop in Tulsa felt that it was an LH failure (****ing idiots) and after several days of talking, they sent the LH to Roger at 928sRus. Which meant the LH ended up in my hands for a test. LH was fine. I tested it in my own car. My car ran fine......that pissed off the guys in OK so guess where the car ended up 2 weeks later.

My shop. 300 miles away. Vac leak at the brake booster, 4 way valve, etc ...................

So, in short, the engine is now sitting on the cross member, cushioned by a timing belt and a bundle of duct tape that my daughter uses for her purses. I think I used red for this GT. My daughter swears i used the Yellow Tape. Until I get the car back in my hands, she will be correct.

The guy paid for the car to be towed 300 miles and didn't want to pay for the mm to be replaced? Seems strange. You made him a diy Jaeger speedmount which is cool, but I don't think a $26K GT should have duct tape anywhere. Maybe the guy is just done with the car. In which case, that price ought to be very negotiable.

I'm watching the Cowboys F up as usual. Romo is leading them into the abyss. Can we bring back Quincy Carter? At least he was fun to make fun of. Tony has hot wife syndrome....

$26,900 is a rich price for any '90, but being touched at " ... 928 Doc In Dallas" is a plus!

You can have Cutler if you want him.

Appears to be a nice GT that needs most of the usual stuff, give that maybe $19K range. After all it's a good time to buy, bad time to sell.

it looks nice also figure it may need new shocks and an intake refresh and fuel lines replaced, plus the MMs
No word of the clutch condition,
should be nice once these things are addressed

This car is at Precision Imports, about 4 blocks from where I work. This is a consignment lot that has handled Porsches for many years. If you can get ahold of the actual owner (unless James at Precicion is the owner) you probally could get it at a pretty good discount. I did notice it has Ark used dealer plates do James may own the car. Anyway no afilation what so ever. Just FYI.

James is the owner, he's had it a couple years now. He also has an '84 he drives a lot.
