Default Has anyone built a 928 BBQ

I was just thinking about those 928s that have been given up on.

Wouldn't it be cool to see a BBQ under the hood of one

You mean a BBQ for cooking or the ones that became one due to a fuel leak?

I have thought of a couple of things to do with throw-away 928s that have been stripped out, but a barbaque is not one of them. Ask Herman K to show you what I might have in mind for some of my trow-away stuff.

I think he' referring to an engine sawed open and hinged so that it works like a Weber grill. I've seem a photo of something like this but I don't think it was of a 928 engine.

Or, maybe he is thinking about the movie Gone in 60 Seconds, where they had the front end of a 1968 Firebird that doubled as a grill. Open the hood, and there you go!

Hmmm... a 928 front end used as a grill? Way too much plastic and aluminum I think to have it fully functional.

Too much plastic and aluminum and also too low. Hurts my back just going through plug wires.
