There can also be a B2 piston issue that might be bit related to this. The outside edges of my B2 piston were skuffed and it was sticking during the shift from 2nd to 3rd. Sometimes it would just totally stick in the middle and I would basically be in neutral. New B2 piston solved it.

Glad it worked out for you that way. It is SOOOO nice when the fix is cheap and relatively easy. Replacement of the B2 valve is not too hard either, but much more expensive part.

It's not 100%, but it's much better. Might have to look into the B2 valve someday. Thanks, Jack
