M16x1.5 IIRC. Unfortunately, the fitting on the passenger side at the firewall is nOt a standard size, but rather extra-long to prevent tampering with the fuel system. However it is possible to make an adapter, either on a lathe (beautiful but time consuming), or by using a welder (****ty but faster). Alternatively, you can do what I did and replace the entire supply line, where the adapter at the back of the car is a double-ended male unit, which is much simpler to turn out on the lathe. I have the dimensions around somewhere I you want them. I used stainless steel for my adapter, because I was concerned about strength and corrosion. Aluminum might work also but I feared that it would be too weak.

I had an entire run of the "long" 16mm x 1.5mm female adaptors made. Right now, I've got them in -6....but I'm also making them in -8.

Interestingly, this fitting is also needed in the rear of the car, where the pressure line from the fuel pump attaches to the chassis line.

I had an "initial" run of a few hundred made...to see if as many people "needed" this fitting as I suspect....it is also found on the 944 models and some 911s. I was removing the "stock hose end" from the stock lines, cutting them down, welding a stock -6 fitting to the remaining piece, and then having them plated. This wasn't very "cost" effective, but got the job done. This "new" adaptor makes my life much easier.

I've got German hose ends (both in -6 and -8) that attach directly to the fuel cooler, for the later cars.

The "performance hose" business is completely separate from the repair shop. 928 International carries most of our pieces....but they are "coming" in so fast, not even they can "keep up" with the newest fittings I create. You can look at www.J2precisionhose.com, but since I'm the one that has to update the web site, it isn't always up to date, either. The best bet is to call and ask if we have it.

I reckon I have installed about as many of Greg Browns hose sets any any other independent shop out there, and you simply are not going to beat the quality of these parts.
They are works of art, they fit well, work as advertised and look really, really good.

I especially like the black hose and black end fuel hoses.
The trans cooler lines that go over the TT and the GT style engine oil cooler lines are simply stunning.
And you will not have to worry about a failure of any kind for a long time with these hoses.

Sterling, your car deserves these hoses.

Greg, I wish I had known that you had the metric to AN adapters in stock. I would've just bought one from you and called it a day. Oh well, I like lathe work anyway...

Greg,
Yep, I like Greg's work. I will be going back together with all black hose, and fittings, as well as anodizing the fuel rails black.

.
Greg,

Do you mean like this one, on the return line?

I'd like to have one of these in -6 if you have them.

Greg,

So looking at the catalog, would this be what I need to attach to that fitting to get it to
connect to an -6 AN hose end?

Thanks,
