If your replacing the regulator be careful you get the correct one for the model year and VIN especialy the '87.

The regulator, fuel line and the routing to the fuel cooler throuh the fuel console changed half way through '87 to '88.

Roger knows the changes well and can advise on what part(s) are needed.

The number from Glen is correct for the early '87

I am taking a wild guess the application is not an S4 but a 85/86 and Porken chips.
