Sounds like a soft $3,000 ....has daul rear fogs no USA sidemarkers so probably not federalized so potentially has registration problems especially for California ! Roger really needs this one if only to export it to NZ or Oz...

Someone here should buy it and convert it to a 5-spd...and left hand drive... (that should light a fire under Roger to snap it up)

Interesting... craiglist is blocked at work. How much work do you think would be required to get this car back up and running.

Don't think it's an issue of not running...but rather one of ...can it be legally registered in the State where you reside. If it has a Florida title (is that where Okaloosa is?)..then it might be easy...if not...well...it's probably still worth looking into.. Right hand drive... uber cool...you'd be the hit of every 928 gathering ;D.

1986 porsche 928 with 4.7L V8. All original Interior shipped over from England so it is right hand drive. This car turns heads where ever it goes. Power windows, power leather seats. Wood grain tilt steering wheel. Cd player with small amp and JL speakers. Burgundy interior. The car has fairly new tires and new brakes. It has an automatic transmission so easy to drive. Looking to get rid of it, cant keep any more.

All '86 ROW are '86.5 equipped...

Reckon the owner put the GB plates on for the pics, or is it not registered?

(I need a '84-'86 ROW for a while to make chips for. )

I run dealer plates right now father owns a car lot so as long as the car doesn't need to be inspected which I doubt it does. I would just slap some plates on and drive. Right hand drive would be really cool and its black. I'm definately interested in it.

I just emailed him on it...it is legal here in Arkansas. I had a 76 Mini Cooper that was right hand drive.

There isn't really an issue with right hand drive in most states...it's the non-federalized "Euro" portion of the equation. If your state is a stickler for detail, they will want to see the federalization paperwork (done by a registered importer)...and won't register it if it hasn't gone through that process. Some states though are more lenient than others..

Good luck to whomever gets it... definitely a cool 928 in the US

In Arkansas I can title any car with just a bill of sale as long as it is 25 years old. No questions asked. Kinda crazy.

What does the two rear fog lights indicate vs seeing the usual one large one on the left side? My car has the dual rear foglights but it also has the side marker lights(1980). Also is there supposed to be a rubber trim piece around each foglight?
