Forgive my ignorance, but my 85's intake didn't look anything like a tarantula intake (like on my 79). Wouldn't someone who has worked on 928s for years know that? OR... do the 85 euros also have a tarantula intake? I don't know...

I'd like to polish my 79s like that... it does look nice.

Yes, 84,5,6 Euro "S2" has this general type of design.

There are different diams depending on exact engine.

I Like but seems like he wants a lot of $ for it

Define "a lot". How much would it cost to pay someone to grind down all the seams and polish it to a mirror?
I'm guessing a days worth of work, at a low labor rate of $60 an hour. I'd say this is a good deal.

$250 is starting bid, not bad really for all that work.

He says it cost him a $1000 so my guess is the reserve is up there in the $750 range maybe.
It is not what it cost to have it done but what someone is prepared to pay.
Time will tell and I will bid.

I see the kings English can be confusing

"A polish job like this cost's well over $1,000."
People make claims like this all the time, it doesn't mean he actually spent that much.
I'm assuming he did the work himself.

"The starting bid is $250.00 + $40.00 shipping. I am a first time seller so shipping time may vary"
The reserve is probably $250 and will drop the reserve after the first bid. First time on eBay, easy to mess that up.
