Default WTB: Ott Links, Front and Rear

I understand no one sells these anymore.

Does anyone have a set, new or used they would like to part with?

I have a good friend in need of a set. He keeps blowing out his stock Boges ('84 Euro).

I some cases, it would make sense to suggest different shocks. But in his case, driving Detroit roads requires a little softer setup. He just needs to flatten out his corners a little bit.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Jim

Jim, did you check with DR to see if he had any of his around? They are not the same, but similar.

Hi Jim,

Let me check, I may have the peices here to put together another set. I know I have a set of the custom parts Louie made, may not have the actual rod/links but those can be sourced easy enough.

OH BTW, to avoid confusion from those who seem to guess at "knowledge" that they know nothing about.....I only sold Louie's Drop links, he and I made improvements on them together over the years (since I was the only Vendor who sold them)....BUT, there is only ONE..Louie's.

All the best,

Dave

Dave, if you do end up putting a set together and find yourself sourcing the threaded 'rod' sections, I could use a pair of the rear rods. I had a little brain fart when installing some 928MS rear shock plates.g..

Ignore the collapsed fuel tank....

Rob,
I have a pair of rear MS links you can have, if a direct replacement works for you.

Dave, I've installed yours and Otts. Are you saying that those you send with the sway bars are the same as Louie's?

Quit being snide.

^^^^ a little further back, Sean.

Dave used to sell what he called "Steroid Drop Links". I believe that is what he is referring to.

I was referring to what he's been selling for the past couple of years with his bars, and trying to help you out by sending it his way. I know he used to sell the SDL's.

I read ya, man. My friend's mechanical aptitude is geared towards the bolt-on links, esp. on the rears. He won't be dropping has trans/carriage anytime soon.

Thanks!
