Default Question about GTS wing

Does the GTS wing attach the same way as the S4 wing?
I'm looking to buy one but the wing doesn't have studs; it has threaded inserts.
I'm sure it is a GTS wing, I checked the item number.
Thanks

GTS wing attaches the same way as the S4. The only difference is the finish. If the one you're looking at has, threaded holes it's either a repaired unit or a reproduction..... Any pics?

Here's a link to the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

I thought it should have studs like the S4 wing.

He's listed the GTS wing item number but it doesn't look like one it seems. I sent the seller an e-mail asking where the mounting studs are. We'll see what he says..
Thanks for the reply Chuck

Looks like the common fiberglass reproduction. If so the holes often do not line up with your existing holes. Some drilling will be required on your hatch metal. And the threaded inserts (rivnuts) sometimes spin. Using the Porsche part number is misleading at best ...fraud at the worst.
The real GTS wing is made of the same rubber as an S-4 just smoothed and finished for paint. Many have actually sanded and painted their S-4 wing to have the GTS LOOK !

if it were I gts wing, it would have a part number on the underside. pretty sure if it were an s4/gt wing it would also have a part number. in any case, I don't see one on the underside of the spoiler in the picture. valor if its fiberglass?

Thanks for the help determining the fraudulent listing.
I was looking for an easy way to switch to a body color spoiler without the hassle of sanding and prepping mine for paint.

Anyone got a GTS wing for sale?

Hi Gearz,

I have a spare S4 wing in great shape I can sell you for $200 plus shipping.

I bought a spare wing from another Rennlister, had it painted and installed on my car, it looks great. So I have the OEM wing from my car just sitting in the garage.

It might be a better deal for you than buying a wing off Ebay.

PM me if you are interested.

VTY,
Joe

^^^^^
Thank you Mr. Bailey for pointing that out.
Still it seems like a good price if only I knew if it would fit.
It appears quite possible it wouldn't, so I don't think I'll risk it.

'Cause if its not parallax error due to a wide angle lens or low camera angle, its bent!
