Weight of aftermarket Carrera 5 spoke wheels? Experiences buying from WAC?

I just put on 100lb wheels and tires a few years ago vs my 50lb wheels and tires. it rides smoother and brakes near the same. why would it??? why wouldnt it. the rotating mass on the wheel, is like 2x as if it was in the car. can you really feel 30lbs in the car? braking and acceleration will have the same effects. the car doesnt know it has 26" wheels or 15"s and the rotating effects only multiply the effects by near 2 as I mentioned.
i have lap times with a half tank that are near what ive done in qualifying thats a near 50lb difference! and we are racing! street driving, good luck ever noticing the difference.
Now, if you added 10lbs of sprung weight your steering might feel a little heavier, but really it doesnt. Ive run the stock rims and tires on my 928 which are near half the weight of the rims and tires i run on the track. there is no compromise as long as you have a suspension that can control the heavier weight. better grip, more stability, increased braking capacity etc. on tracks that are smooth, with gradual turns like laguna, its hardly even a concern for even just wheel weight increases alone! However on a bumpy road, with tight turns that are right after each other like a slalom course, it will matter more.

Just as a reference, I got my Panamera 10 spoke wheels in the mail today from Chuck Z. used the old bathroom scale so don't really know the accuracy, but with tires mounted front weighed 47 lbs and rears weighed 52 lbs. using the tire weights from tire rack (again don't know the accuracy) front 24 lb and rear 28 lbs gives wheel weights of 23 lbs and 24 lbs for front and rear respectively.

if we are talking only braking and acceleration, the laws of physics say that that added wheel and tire weight will be close to 2x as if it was in the car. remember, you are stopping the entire car, all 3000lbs of the race car or all 5000lbs if its a chevy tahoe, is coupled via the wheels and tires. The fact that the weight on the wheels is spinning, adds to the effect (inertia) of that weight on the wheels. But, i dont think you can notice 30 or 60lbs in the car under braking or acceleration, can you?? (5-8bs per wheel, x 4 and then x 2 for the inertial equivilance)
Now, unsprung weight for handling will push in to another area of the effects fo spinning weight, that of gyroscopic effects. But if the race track is smooth and the turns are gradual, that too might not be a large factor. the faster you turn, the more bumpy it is the greater the effect working against the system.

my 19lb wheels from kinesis weigh, with tires, about 50lbs a piece.
thats 335 rear and 305 front on 10s and 11s.
the tire has most of the weight and its the most outer on the radius too, so if you really want to shave weight, buy light tires.

Been on CL and ebay for some time now. Going rate that I have seen is $1000 - $1400+, with or without tires, tires may or may not be usable.
I do believe the factory wheels are worth it, no argument there.
But right now, spending the extra $300 - $700+ for the real deal means delaying spending that $300 - $700 on other parts and repairs that my S4 needs.
Original plan, and the one that still in effect, is to wait to buy the factory wheels when I can afford them.
Then spotted the replicas in another thread and thought it was worth asking about, which resulted in a lot of good info in this thread.
