Default Pic request - GTS windshield corner

Can someone pls post a pic of the top corner of their windshield - either a GTS or a car with GTS side seals.

I just replaced my trim and seals with the GTS versions that include the corner seal, but I'm pretty sure the seal was molded incorrectly.

Before I cut it, I'd like to see a pic to make sure.

Thanks!

Yes, she did stop by today, that is her in the first picture.
Was I going to get some thing for you?
I bet my order has not shipped and I can call her if you need something.

Don't tink t his space is supposed to be there, and the corner part should be farther down.

Was I going to get some thing for you?
Nope, I just never forget a pretty face. All part of the clinical training.

On Topic: George, I'll shoot pics to add a datapoint, later tonight.

You mean like the one just above the arrow, or is there some other piece?

I believe he is referring to the one you have the arrow identifying. In your picture it is very hard to see due to the lack of contrast between it and the lower side trim and windshield.

Unless we did something wrong, it appears that the corner wedge piece of rubber is too high.

I see you have the gap as well... wonder what up with that.

Thanks for the pics, Rob.

Here are some more pic's... First, the '90 GT which we fitted with GTS trim last fall.
I shaved down the bit that tucks under the top trim (the side against the glass, with a razor blade), the abrupt edge didn't seem right.

And here is the '93 GTS, untouched since Fritz assembled the windshield frame in '92.
It looks like they tucked the "tail" in a bit, on one side. The driver's side looks a bit funky.
(Yes, it's dirty... Black always looks dirty. And it gets driven )

I have NEVER seen that trim before. Is it hard to come by? I've always wondered why the big gap was there...looked so tacky.

I assume this is to reduce wind noise and improve the appearance? If so, does it make a noticeable difference and is it a worthy upgrade for earlier models?
