Default It was a short run but a run none the less.

Well its official. My 928 sold last weekend, and i got the cash i needed to take care of my personal issues. I have always wanted a 928 and i found that one about a yr ago here in tampa, fl where i live. I was so excited to find one in my price range, that the blinders were on full blast. I did not know of this site nor did i know of the ppi or who to have one done by. Blindly i bought a 86.5 but didn't know it from any other 928 that i had ever seen. I could not have been any happier. The guy i bought it from seemed nice enough but there were some things he left out when i purchased it. The massive power steering leak, the fact that there was no motor in the passenger door for the window, the fact that the drivers door handle was broken, or that the car had been repainted at some point. He did not tell me the front spoiler was destroyed or that there were 5 lights on the the dash that didnt go out. None the less i picked it up so fast, i didnt even try to talk him down. I paid him 3500 cash and drove off smiling. I do not regret purchasing that car nor would any of those issues if told about up front have stopped me from doing so anyway. Maybe i would have tried to talk him down, but to be honest i thought the price was a steal. I honestly didn't know any better. This site was a huge help in fixing many of the problems i had and getting opinions on wheel and tire sizes. I would not have been able to do any of it, if it weren't for you guys, the hard core 928 guys that seemed to be as helpfull as possible. Thank you all for your help and your posts and your sticky's and im sure i will purchase another in the near future. It will be a much more informed purchase therefore a much better purchase in my opinion.

Thanks alot

Chris.

Congrats, good luck, and come back soon. Many here have been down a similar path and ended up with a keeper the second time around.
