Need to add,

"Who builds the best stroker engine"

 

Ha,Ha, I started the "Who builds the best stroker thread", not realizing it would create the big ruckus! My reasoning was to think about having the ultimate 928 without resorting to boosting by supercharging,turbocharging etc. I still think it would be the best car say a 600HP 928(5spd), then no need for the ridiculously priced Astons,Ferrari's, & Maserati's(even though I like these cars).

Why a Chevy engine in a 928 is far better than a ratty old Porsche engine, cheaper, more HP, and it looks better too!

How can torque vs hp be pointless when there are so many that still dont get it!
When I still here someone say, " I shift when the torque or hp really starts to fall off". there is a point to help someone better understand what is happening. same with gear ratio discussions. So, i dont think its pointless, becuase the point is to better understand the relationship of the terms.

Now, what is the better car or best car, or other topics of purely personal preference, now that can be pointless.
