Default Georgia Mountains Fun Run

Well, Greg, Paul, Ernie, and myself took a little fun run up into the mountains today and had a blast! They can chime in, but I was running so hard that I scraped my front spoiler a couple of times. Greg Nettles was leading the pack, and we had some great hillbilly BBQ for lunch, and raced up and down several mountains. Here are some pics.

Yea, that was fun, for a little thing that started yesterday late in the afternoon with a "We should go for a drive tomorrow" deal.

No issues at all, but Paul lost vacuum to the heater control valve and had to wire it shut.

Georgia mountain roads are awesome. I say that to my BIL every time I'm there. Problem is that I'm never there with my 928! Some day I would like to meet up with you guys, but this year I'll only be in North Georgia (Bowman) for a day before we head on down to FLA.

They really are, with the short and close turns on 180 coming out of Suches it can be a real work out.

I think that is just one of the roads that is better than the Dragon.

First time that I had driven it, and there were a couple of times that I drove in hard to tight turns that I held my breath, but the 928 never broke free or even slid. I also thought a couple of times that we would end up with a cyclist or two on the windshield as there must have been a bike race or fun run of their own going on. They seemed to be around every curve. Great time!

Sorry for the quality of some of the pics, but I was driving with one hand while clicking pics with the other!
