Default Front LED Stripes on an S4

I think they look pretty sweet, better than expected. Plus they're cheap and now readily available (my Pep Boys had maybe 10 different makers, shapes and sizes). These are "Lightning Eyes" I bought off Amazon ($25).

Super easy to install. I tapped into the corner lights. The green and yellow wire is the positive non-flashing wire. Tapped into that and the ground wire, stuck them on using a pick to drive them as far back as I could, and voila. Took maybe 20 minutes per side.

They're on when the corners are on. I might install a separate switch for them so I can shut them off, or maybe have just them on without the corners on.

My 928s normally turn heads, especially here in Baltimore. Got far more head turns driving with these on than I can remember. Not sure if that's a good thing or not!

I wonder if that qualifies for Daytime Running Lights and insurance discounts?

Don't think so, Mike. DRLs have to come on automatically, I believe. These require flipping a switch. If someone knows those rules, though, and these qualify, I'll gladly mention it to my insurance company!

You could wire them to be always-on-with-key-on I am sure.

The LEDs look great, if they were a little bit longer and you could pick up the curve of the fog lights.

I was in the panamera forum earlier, and had to balance it with some real Porsche V8. : )

If turning heads is the goal, why not just get one of these?
Not the goal, chief. Just an observation.

Think the LED's look great and it is EASY to wire up to an ignition source.
