Today was the Day of Days........
Dyno Time!
spent a few hours with the shop guy driving around the block/area checking and changing the VE table to the the AFR perfect. then on to the Dyno Dynamics steady state dyno. a steady state dyno allows you to "load" the car at a set RPM so you can go and adjust the tune as needed.
here is a video of the last pull after the tune was done. sounds fantastic.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3kY7...ature=youtu.be
No leaks, stayed cool, and best of all did not explode. could not have asked for a better day.
the nickname for this style of dyno is "the heart breaker" due to the numbers not be as.. inflated as other inertia style dynos. but thats not here or there to me.
ended up at 211hp at around 5100 rpm, and 250 torque at just over 4000 rpm.
on the way home i was throwing my self back in the seat, and giggling like a girl as i kept sliding around corners (LSD was no help :-P )
im glad to have my car back again!
just some cold start issues/IAC settings to play with and she be ready to rock.

5 Speed, then should be at the 288 HP and 310 TQ at the flywheel. High TQ number, engine is breathing very well.
Do a compression test and post the #'s. Bet your in the 10s

Reverse the math... Supposedly an Auto looses 20% HP / TQ from the crank to the wheel... A Manual only looses 15% from crank to wheel. Soooooo
Crank HP: 250 - 15% (38) = 212 HP / Crank TQ: 295 - 15% (45) = 250 TQ. So you have approximately 250 HP / 295 TQ at the crank. Pretty close SWAG (Scientific Wild *** Guess)
Of course the clutch operation, air temp, humidity, etc, cause variances... but I'd say she's pumping pretty damn good!!

after fixing my original breather set up with a filter from Kuhn and a new and improved filler neck , my oil getting in the exhaust problem seems fixed.
next on the list is to take the lap top with me and put around and find the lean "bucking" spots on the VE map and richen it up a bit.
