Great '91 S4 For Sale
This car belongs to a great friend who was recently transferred out of town for career reasons. It is the car in my profile picture with my '86 and I would buy it myself but the timing is not right. I have been around this car the whole time that he owned it. It is beautiful! It drives very well, all of the service has been done by experienced 928 mechanics , recent timing belt change. It looks better than the photos. I am cross posting his links here because I want to see it go to a good home, like a Rennlister. This car has been treated with love. Sorry for being sentimental.

Hey Guys,
I am the person who is selling this 928. I will take the seat covers off this weekend and post pics of the seats. Also, I will be taking pictures of all receipts for the work done to the car in the last 5 years. I will also post more engine pics if necessary. I bought this car in 2006 from a gentleman out of San Francisco. He bought the car a year earlier from a surgeon (the original owner). When I received it, I promptly took it to Las Vegas to get it serviced by a 928 mechanic (Richard). The car had 48,xxx miles on it plus 2 cracked distributer caps and laundry list of things. Needless to say, I paid $3000 to get the car out of the shop. Obviously, this car was garaged because of the paint had its shine and interior looked brand new. I just changed the waterpump and timing belt this year. The car is satellite ready (hence, the shark tale). So, I feel you will not have any upfront cost. Just drive!
I am selling this vehicle because I am PCSing (change of duty station). I do not want to subject this vehicle to the hard winters of Chicago. And, I do not want to store it. This car needs to be driven. Actually, I have a 2009 G8 GXP with 7000 miles that I will also have to leave behind (storage). The only cars I am taking are my daily driver (2011 Mustang GT California Special Modified) and my Jeep Cherokee.
Please contact Henry Jones or myself (Maury) with further questions. I want a 928 person to buy this vehicle because they understand the car. I do not want this classic trashed.

Maury,
I find it interesting that you post pictures of your car for sale with the drivers' side windshield wiper in the "up/out" position. Doesn't seem to me to enhance the appearance of the car in any way!! But then, perhaps I just have a weird perspective on how to photograph a car for best "sale" impact.
Good luck with the sale, and I'm sure it will go faster on the highways with the wiper in the normal position!! - ha.

Yea, I know. I just washed it. Ha Ha. I have sifted threw a lot of 928s until I found this one. People do not take care of these cars. I am a strong believer in taking care of the 1. engine 2. suspension, and 3. tires. So many people have pretty 928s but the timing belt has not been changed and etc. This urks me.
This is unchartered territory for me and I am really torn. This car means so much to me. That's why I would prefer a 928 owner.

Besides the secret wiper salute to Maxwell Smart, I thought you had a gambling problem: from the ad:: "The D90 wheels are in Las Vegas" Glad you cleared that up. I still think there are secret messages in the text of your ad. "I will take the front seat covers off at a later time. The car has no leaks or sweats." All it lacks is the give away "Wet birds fly at night."

...what's up with the driver side wiper, since it is up in both the street pic and gas station pic? Installed too high up the window and didn't have time to re-position on the spindle? Unfortunately catches the eye and creates inquiry why it is always in the up position is multiple pics....
Nice looking car though. Good Luck!
