Hi everybody, I just bought a garnet red 1980 Euro-S automatic 928, with checkerboard pasha interior in excellent condition, needs some attention to get it running, it has a black hood which looks ugly but I will have it repainted to match the rest of the car, I bought it on ebay for $1200, a good deal I thought, straight body panels, just needs the paint work. Anybody know how there Euro-s automatics perform, I know they are 3spd transmissions, will post pictures of the car after I get it running.(101K miles on the car).Bill

With older 928s what you pay for them is often of little importance. What they will need is more the issue. So figure out what you have, try to get it running driving with as little money as possible. Be sure to check the engine number to confirm that it is an S engine. The odometer reading is probably not real since the speedos are changed in the federalization process. If it becomes a good running Euro S engine that alone is worth twice what you paid for the car.....

Thanks everybody for the nice words, yes will send pics in due time, I agree the pasha interior is in nice shape. Jim, yes I know how much you can spend on these cars in updating maintenance, as you say I plan to spend as little as possible to get it running. One paint guy told me you just can't paint a hood alone, it won't match the fenders, I don't completely believe that, I don't want to paint the front half of the car if I don't have to. This car reminds me of my 78 that had clothe seats, I actually thought it was more comfortable to sit in than leather. Bill
