Yep....and it's not the bottle color... (I forgot)..it's either red cap or silver cap ,,,

and I'm not sure if it was ever determined that they were different..

From what I have been able to find out, Mobil 1 15W-50 regardless of bottle/cap color has enough ZDDP. The newer lighter variants have reduced levels of ZDDP.

Went to Napa today and they had 6 bottles of Mobil 1 15W-50. Price at the rack said '$7.99', but the girl at the check out confirmed $4.99 good thru the end of the month.

Interestingly, they have their own brand of 15w-50 synthetic which they claim is made by Valvoline which goes for $5.49
