Default Price of registration?

How much did you pay to register your 928?

Please state the year of your car/s and the state in which it is registered.

In Michigan the switch from "weight" vs "MSRP" as a registration fee is the 84 model year. So to register an 83 (based on weight) it's $50-$60. For an 84 (based on MSRP), it's $250... Isn't that ridiculous? Here's what sucks for me, My 928 is an 83, but it's titled as an 84 (Gray market car)

So how much is your registration?

How about registration & or annual tax. In MA, the annual registration is low $65, but the tax is a couple hundred more and is based on the book value of the vehicle. Up in NH, there was no tax, but the registration was a lot higher.

New York 2 Year Reg. where I live is around $95 (based on gross vehicle weight); Title is $50; Sales tax on purchase price (not fair market value unless a gift): 8.8635%; $37 inspection per year.

That sounds a lot better than MA. Sales tax here is also based on a book value, which sucks.

Trip, I just got my plates last week. My registration fee was $27 and the title fee was $30 . I was surprised as I had braced myself for the msrp price. Not sure why it was cheaper. Mine is a 78.

The 84 MY was the first year for the MSRP instead of weight. Your 78 is pre-84 so it would be based on weight.

Default Diagnostic connector 2.2 for sale

I have a Diagnostic connector professional tool for 25-Pin 2.2 Bosch LH and Ezf if any one has an interest let me know.
I would like to get $50.00 but we can talk!

This can be used to hook up a Mega Squirt and not have to cut the factory harness. You can also return the car to stock state to drive it while you tune your Mega Squirt.

Sales tax when you transfer and title a car in TX is something like 6.75% of the purchase price but annual registration is $55.XX in person and $56.XX by mail.
