I agree that he rarely if ever dropped into the gutter and resorted to name calling (to his credit), but the guy was impossible to have a reasonable back and forth debate/discussion with. I'm not sure this is reason enough for a banning, but I could see how it would get old with some over time.

probably because he got into it with VR...(rennlist small business sponsor)..and instead of VR fighting back...got reported...John D had a bad day..MK got banned..... We get to roast MK, while he's not around....for a little while longer

MK is a competitor. He will compete until he is too tired to continue, and as an athlete, that would take a *very* long time. As an athlete, I understand his demeanor well. While a lot of his information was correct, he was prone to making sweeping generalizations that overreached his facts and invalidated his comments. Getting him to see this would take at least 5 forum pages of back-forth posts.

That said, I'm not exactly sure why John D. got so angry with him. I have seen almost all of MK's posts on this list over the years, and hardly ever did he make posts that were derogatory, contained personal attacks/insults, or explicitly broke any rules. Maybe he crossed the line with some recent posts that were deleted though...

While is seldom agreed with Mark, I actually enjoyed most of his posts.
And as I said before in this thread, he never dropped to name calling, and for that after some of the things that have been said about him, and too him, you got to respect that..

I didn't know MK, but I like that he held up the 928 flag high by racing one.
