The first will be my practice car. A 97 Nissan. (I have some body work to do on it first) Once I'm comfortable with the product I'll wrap the P cars with finishes that can't be brought back. I would prefer do what Dean did with Marvin, but I don't have the skills to pull that off.

Donald and I decided to go the buy it now on route on ebay and work out the deposit. When Title comes in I will be off to NY to pick it up Not sure if I'm going to trailer it or drive it back with a trail vehicle. I do like to live on the edge. I'll probably drive it.

Deans work was top notch. And I hear ya I am just impatient and want to see a 928 wrapped already! I have played around a lot with the material and still dont think I am at the level of doing a car with a ton of curves. I know its possible since I have seen them done but just not at that level yet. GL end hijack.

You're a brave man. No way would I drive that car back. If you have a tow vehicle, Uhaul car trailers are dirt cheap to rent for a day.

Not so much brave, more like reckless abandon. Since my two combat tours my office job holds much to be desired, so taking chances tends to liven me up.
Flew to Seattle last year and drove the 87 back.

I've been there and done that. I drove my '87 back from Virginia, but that car was in excellent condition and had been recently serviced. This example looks to be in a little rougher shape...
I'm contemplating it. I have a truck but will need to have it fitted with a ball and hitch.

Charlie,
Did you buy this one? If so, when are you going to go get it? If your wife doesn't want to go, I may share the ride with you depending on when you want to go. Give me a call if you want company. Now we both will have an s3. He says the car is in excellent running condition so why not drive it? However, listening to the video, I could have sworn I could hear a little hunting idle.
Thanks,
Frank

It will be cared for, but as for the skill. I'm reading and learning, and I have two great teachers here in the area Jim JADZ928 and Chris Landseer. All should go well.

Another car in the hands of an enthusiast. Good news! Seems like a decent car at the right price. Petrol blue is a fantastic color, but I see you're going to wrap it.

I love Petrol Blue as well and I'm going to do the interior in Cork eventually. It will be the wifes car. (Getting ready to get a BMW bike so this will ease the blow somewhat)
