Default Looking for 928 Engine....

Thrust bearing went. Had a rare 1985 Euro. Won't find another if I tried. Twin distributor...etc.... Anyway...

I need a complete engine!!! w/ harnesses computers...etc. Or a wrecked 928. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Preferrably s4 engine or gts. thanks

or... if anyone out there knows where I can get my hands on a 1985 Euro engine... Would I forever be greatful. Thanks again.

I am thinking any 4.7l short block will work. Just move over your pistons and top end.

Thrust bearing puts tons of junk into the oil, so you may have bits in all the places bits can go, but still most of that Euro motor can be reused, and switching to a different model year has plenty of electrical etc issues most would prefer to avoid.

Easiest fix, what I would do, is swap the short block for a US 85/86. You will need to notch the pistons for 2v instead of 4v, and I would have the heads looked over and lifters cleaned out or replaced, but other than that everything should fit and work with your car as is.

*** Note only the 85/86 short block matches up well, other years have issues.

OT: I thought Eliminators had Boss 302 motors in them.
