This thread has just convinced me to put tan carpets in my all black interior when the time comes! Great work Stan!

That Slivernet looks much more plush than the original stuff in my cars. Is it different now? Is is still wool, or was it ever wool. My interior looks a bit like a matted dog after a bath. No matter how much brushing I do it still looks that way. I am about to redo the carpet in my project car so your comments and pics are timely.

Great job! I might be interested in the old blue carpet material if the price is right. I have some tan door card inserts that I won't be needing although I like the top side of your doors all blue.

well I am just about finished got the hatch seal installed and then put the interior back together, put on the new wheels gotta get new tires though

Out of interest, as I have the same wheels on my 928S, do your rear wheels have spacers fitted ? I only ask as I have 17mm one,s at the moment, with a little rolling on the fender.

JB thanks new carpets do make a difference.
Aryan Mig is actually an aggressor F 5 from the Top gun school,
and its going straight up in the picture .
Ken this car had the factory wider spacers and they were swapped out for IIRC 8MM hub centrics the tires dont rub.

We put a black velour Budd kit into an 84 --- excellent quality. Transformational. Love it.
