I have only ever bought one item from 928 Motorsports (no problems), but that statement surprises me... a lot.

cpayne,

Not talking about what I have already spent. Never bothered adding it up, but a good ballpark would be between 15 - 18K.

6K to 7K is what I am about to spend. 928 Motorsports Super SC upgrade and TecGT= at least $6000.00.

What's not to understand? I'd like to hear about those two products more than anything else.

Doesn't seem like anybody has gotten the Super Powerdyne rebuild or the TecGT. This means that I have no idea if others have found that they are good, bad or great. Was hoping for input from others that have purchased these, to use as a point of reference, in considering his products against others that are available.

If nobody else has anything good to say about these two products / services, I'll just buy from the other vendors that are offering similar products that freinds of mine have already used and are happy with.

Thats makes more sense. . I read it as your had over 6K on everything including a SC.
Good luck with your project.

Sorry for the confusion.

Getting a bit dizzy trying to separate actual product opinions from the service issues.

Maybe I'll just start another thread about the Super Powerdyne rebuild asking for specific opinions on it.

The TecGT "kit" concept appealed to me, but I just found out from Electromotive that a Tec3 they had modified for me will work great and it will give me the true Sequential Fuel Injection that I want. The TecGT won't do sequential FI on a V8.

So I just saved about $5K.

What a great thread (not) .....10 minutes of my life I will never get back.... What always puzzled me was how does one become known for building race car products when the test mule car really does not race ??? my person attitude about business is, given a choice, people do business with people they LIKE....

Default Parts for free???

Yeah, i like to buy 32 v engine kit that comes with 16 valve guides, i guess someTexans cannot do the math or just play dumb. I Never ask anything for free, i just pay what is fair- ask the Texan if i think i spend almost 10,000 with him over 3 years of ownership. I asked about the Bosch injectors without the clip to hold in place warranty or the motor mount-no response to the purchased......I deal with 928 intl all the time and ask them if i want my things for free...Yes i pay for whats included, and not included but for an extra fees.

But have you any ethics, seriously?
Total BS. If one of my purchasing agents cross-shopped suppliers like described, they would be escorted out. Trying to trap one supplier in the mistakes of a second and playing ignorant. Shame.

This entire thread is about professionalism, ethics and expectation setting, both from buyer and seller perspectives.
Patterns develop quickly.
Kinda like "name that tune".

Default Customer service here...

Listening to customers is what most vendors do, my money or anyone is green regardless of your colors. When i compared and brought up to attention including an e-mail from Vertex no response. I shop many items with the Texan every year when the car is called for,and Vertex do not have the injectors wire connectors and chain tensioner pads, etc therefore i wanted one stop shop. He was a great help two years ago until the place no longer needs my money today. Now my Bosch injectors 4 pintle i purchased and the motor mount solid -fluid issues needed answers-no response on warranty. CUSTOMER SERVICE.
