Awesome deal - thanks!!!!
I would be funny if they open up the database and see a few pages of 928 owners signed up![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
There are three different grades of VR1:

This is for the more expensive full synthetic on the far right of that link.
You threw me for a loop before I read the rebate. The conventional that a lot of 928 owners us is usually less than $4 a quart![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
I haven't seen the fully synthetic VR1 for sale around here yet.

My anti-virus software threw up warning flags on that website. Use caution!

Checking Autozone.com shows:
Valvoline/1 qt. SAE 20W-50 VR1 Racing oil
$4.69 per quart
Dont have notes with me (maint stuff is at the house), 20W50 is right for 1989 S4, right?

Do you have to buy the oil from one of the four auto stores listed? I ask because Amazon sells it for $12.19 for 6 quarts and free shipping? Here's the link:
