Just found this and signed myself up. Free case, up to $50 with rebate, of VR1 the high zinc oil.

Haven't shopped for oil in a while, any ideas where this Racing version is available? Wonder too what weights, seems everything now is max of 10W - 30 ...

There are three different grades of VR1:

You threw me for a loop before I read the rebate. The conventional that a lot of 928 owners us is usually less than $4 a quart

I haven't seen the fully synthetic VR1 for sale around here yet.

Checking Autozone.com shows:

Valvoline/1 qt. SAE 20W-50 VR1 Racing oil
$4.69 per quart

Dont have notes with me (maint stuff is at the house), 20W50 is right for 1989 S4, right?
