Just looked up on Tire Rack - their system also suggests 255 on the back. So how's the fit of 275? Not sure what bigmac meant by "torque broke".

Thanks a lot everyone for your input. Went with Conti DW - 225 in the front, 275 in the back.

I have Continental ExtremeContact DWS tire (245-45-17 and 275-40-17). They handle well and grip wet roads nicely. I don't track the car or drive too aggressively, but I do drive it in nearly any weather except snow.

Alexi, I see you already bought, FYI, my owners manual has recommended tire sizes in the back. Obviously, people do what they want, but it would be good to compare with the manual.
