What kind of suspension do you have? WOW! We have some rallys like this, but I've never considered entering a 928. They are natively more appropriate for our comparatively tame open road racing, which is more or less like cruising the Autobahn as fast as you can.

Yea, I am guess your car is not like the 1982 928 I just bought. The only way the front end of mine
would lift like that is using a floor jack

Reminds me of Anders driving my S4 from the Pacific Coast Hiway to Woodside on Hwy 84. I screamed for my life - while Anders merely had a good time.

That was AFTER he drove my car for the first time... sideways through the first intersection we encountered.

This gives some idea what kind of instructions navicator gives during special stages. Some events allow checking of roads to be done before actual race. Driver and navicator write those notes together. Smaller scale events might use ready made notes provided by organisers.

But 185 width tyres?! Geez, that's seriously under-tyred, considering even a 75hp diesel astra comes with 205s nowadays... (early cars were 225 all round, right?)

Tyres are rules bound .. we have to use a /70 series profile ... so choice is not great !!

This is another stage (quite different) from same event. The section up to "The Gap" at the top , and back down again was / is "interesting" ... better not to think about the drops off to the side !!

Wow Cortina, that is some driving! I was amazed at how you were able to traverse some very technical sections with only one hand on the wheel. Very impressive.

I really enjoyed the video. What I wouldn't give to have access to a closed course like that. Seriously, you could market a 928 vacation and people would buy it. Come to Ireland, drink Guinness, drive fast; or to put in the correct order: come to Ireland, drive fast, drink Guinness, repeat.
