Default Reliable/Honest Mechanic

Haven't posted in a while, but I now find myself in need of a good, reasonable, reliable mechanic that knows our cars. I live in Orange County, CA, close to Disneyland. Many thanks!

Anaheim is right near you - pretty much the foremost 928 mechanic in the US by many accounts is there, Greg Brown at Precision Motorwerks. Google will turn up his location

(in case you're wondering why a guy from Oz is answering, I spend a fair bit of time in OC as my in-laws are dotted around there )

Huh? Try again in English.

Never mind, don't.

You are in OC. There is no easier way to put this. Greg Brown. He is the only Mechanic I have ever met in my entire life that I would trust to work on my own car. Ever.

I do all my own work, but occasionally over the years I have indeed gotten over my head. If I were do so now, I know there would be only one place I would go.

Thanks for the guidance! Looks like I'll be calling Greg quite soon. I think it's the water pump!

I would call sooner than late, he might have a few other cars ahead of you.

PS, another vote for GB, my guess is nobody on the planet knows more about repairing a 928 than GB.

+1 for Greg Brown from a new owner. He did quite a bit of work on my car for a (not the) previous owner, and did the PPI for me recently. Great work, no attitude, left with full confidence.
