Rob - the seller - is a very knowledgeable Porsche enthusiast. His company have taken a lot of interest in the 928 and it is nice to see pristine examples of our favorite cars being brought to the market.
Good luck with the sale and the car is worth every penny.

Absolutely gorgeous! I appreciate the professional presentation, vehicle history, and degree of disclosure. That said, I wonder about the freshness of:
If all of the above are recently refreshed (he mentioned $5,300 of work in the past 4 years), I would agree the car is worth every penny of the asking price. Very rare color, low miles, and excellent condition inside and out. This has all the hallmarks of a keeper. To me it would come down to whether or not it truly needs nothing before pulling the trigger.
- motor mounts
- fuel lines
- vacuum lines
- knock sensors
- hall sender
- shocks

They all need something, Jarrod. Even the low mile ones.
This one in particular need very little.
Goes without saying I will be following this sale closely.
I too, believe it is worth every penny.
But then again, I may be bias.

Don't think he should brag about how much they spent at the shop that was working on it. I've got a dozen or so ex-customers of theirs and have seen what they charge for stuff, and the quality of work. And yes Ali, the idle is low.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and fair assessment so far. To answer a few comments, but not really questions:
Esprits4s: Not a new member - original id was Rob Mays, still active and trying to tie that to this id which is preferred for obvious reasons I was a digest subscriber for many, many years and did not interact on the 911 side of things. Once I got hooked on BMW's, I became real active in other forums and just did not frequent Rennlist - I guess it was mainly an income relative to car purchasing power in the last 3 years - damn economy!
namasgt: I think it is the gauge and not the idle. Car settles in to a perfect idle. I noticed it seemed low on the gauge myself, but I truly think it is in the gauge. I shot the picture of the gauges all functioning as a courtesy to those that know the cars.
Jwise: A lot of the parts you mentioned appear to be original. But I must say they are in good condition by appearance - Visual inspection, feel, etc. No fluid loss from shocks. Engine is rock steady. Hoses look fantastic! Really you have to be around the car to see and feel what I am talking about.
Jadz928: Thanks for the kind words. The dash, console and trim is flawless. Must be camera playing with visuals. I just went out to the garage to confirm. You made my heart skip a beat.
SeanR: Totally agree with you when it comes to the invoices form a particular shop. They charge a lot and mainly to people who never turn a wrench or even know how a car works. But I have the invoices and I verified what they represented and if in fact the work was done. The A/C was definietly fixed right and it is unbelievably cold. I give them thumbs up for that. They would not be my first choice, but lots of concerns that were valid in 2007 were handled properly and I thank them for that.
I am confident the car will stand on its own. It is the real deal. I am asking the right money and I will pull the trigger if a serious buyer makes the right offer. I have time, I have patience and I feel it needs to go to a good home that will tolerate a 928's personality at times. They are older hand built cars with good parts, that sometimes fail at inconvenient times. This car should avoid those common concerns and provide many, many years of positive, enjoyable miles of ownership.
Thanks to all on the board for the positive outlook. Thanks for accepting me at face value so far. Car will be at the Dallas Cars and Coffee on May the 7th, weather permitting of course
