My situation has changed and I am going over everything so that I can make my car back into a daily driver. I have already identified the fuel line issue - will add the PS lines.
WOW...I must of just had a senior moment....wrong poster. Sorry Frank.

Okay, back to you marinesniper....please see me miss applied note to poor Frank ( who is probably scratching his head about Dean )...Darn...I need a flow chart!

I'm not against anything the OP has done to his car, and I admire his enthusiasm. Hell, I painted my intake Yellow.

My own opinion, and it's the same one I give to all my customers, get the basics out of the way first, get the car safe and reliable, then go out and have fun pimping it out.

It took me 5 years to finish the basics, clean up, TB, new engine seals, gaskets, tubing (inc vacuum), intake refresh, new injectors, new sensors, new clutch, new short shift, new shift linkages, rebuilt all suspension with new bushes (etch primed and painted silver), rebuilt callipers, new disks, pads, cv joints, TT bearing, g/box reseal, fix reverse lockout, sandblast fuel tank cradle and powder coat, rebuilt steering rack, new ali full length under tray, new fuel lines (front to back) and brake lines/flexi lines, aircon reseal inc new dryer, aircon condenser, 18” split rims, tracker and text alert alarm system......(and more than I can remember).... It's in for it's respray at the moment (black with clear coat) at one of the best spray shops in the UK (hoping to receive back tomorrow), then the new carpets, professionally re-pigmented seats and trim go back, along with a new double din satnav multimedia unit (getting rid of digi clock in the process )......can't wait.

You have to do the nice to have's to keep the motivation going in my opinion, my car should be finished in the next two weeks (we'll as finished as I can afford to make it). The original aim was to make it like 'new' but having spent £8000 buying it 10 years ago, and £26000 between then and now on progressive restoration (including this £3500 respray, with me supplying full set of new seals/windscreen...) I doubt it will ever get much better than this. I know this is big overspend, but once you're in you're in, and I don't ever intend selling! So I say do want brings a smile, as long as the mechanical improvements punctuate the visual ones!

What I have done in the first 4 days:

- gutted the cats, resonators and put a magna-flow exhaust
- tinted all the windows
- swapped out all the speakers for Kicker and added a 12" subwoofer
- re-charged the A/C
- added a white racing stripe down the center of my red 928 S4

What I have on order:

- momo steering wheel and base
- momo auto shifter and boot
- carbon fiber fabric for the interior
- 4 x 19" racing rims
- 2 Recardo blk/red racing seats, no power and very little adjustement
- new LCD stereo with NAV, DVD etc...touch screen

I am sure there is more but I cannot remember all of the stuff at the moment...I will send a pic for before and after...!

Example, Martin High School, local to here, has it's mascot as the "Warriors" as in native American Indian Warrior. Some POS raised holy hell about it for a few years, wanted it changed to something non racist as he and his small group said.. Odd, some local and even not local REAL Native American Indians disagreed and once that came to light the whole broohaha went away.. Still the Martin Warriors!
Shut up cracker.
