Default Whose 86.5 White 928 w/Lipstick Red was this car? 928 OC Member Once/PCA

Okay I go to check out this car today:

http://shop.ebay.com/150592601994

Also here:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=29680869&ct=u

I get to the back and see:

VIN: WP0JB0926GS861216

So does anyone know whose car this was? Can't be too many with Lipstick Red interior and white outside...

Car spent a chunk of its life in Morrisville, PA; was most recently on Long Island (Lynbrook) and before that also Long Island.

Anyway I checked the car out--needs a rear passenger fender liner; haven't seen title to see if it has a salvage brand or not. Intake is clean and R134 was done okay (some scuffs on some of the pipes from other work). Rear bottom arch passenger side is dented. Could be pushed out. Definitely got knocked in the rear.

Has original tool kit, rear cover, rear net; updated Blaupunkt radio. Dynamatted.

Very well done. Paint is okay overall. Lots of small issues. 3 footer for most; 10 footer for Nicole

Extra set of Piepans with Blizzaks for winter driving.

Interior has been touched up for cracks and such but it smells nice.

Key doesn't spring back when starting. Some odor but not too bad from exhaust.

The accelerator sticks--turned the bowden/accelerator cables under the hood--did NOT come back to idle position very quickly.

Needs new hood struts and rear hatch struts; rear release inoperative. Rear looks pushed in.

Noxology sparkplug wires. Clean underhood except as mentioned above. A/C blows super cold. Lights all work as expected but "Taillight" warning is on. Missing cover for jump post under hood. Otherwise as expected.

Want $9000 for the car. I think that is much considering the paint and if it is a NY Salvage (then it's not worth half as it it very hard to insure).

107K miles.

Michael

P.S. these are the same guys selling that 86.5 with the painted rear red spoiler. They got the $7995 from someone in Wisconsin...Hacker??

Not as nice in person. Lots of little cosmetic issues.

Thanks. I just like the color combo. I think it looks great on that 86.

Michael.
Time to procure.
Something.
And drive the hell out of it.
Who cares how much it costs? Or how little?

Chris-I've narrowed to a handful. Now to PPI.

Still waiting to see the title doc. from New York State to see if it is branded or not.
