Now that is one unique car! What a find. Having lived in NZ and thinking at the time what a pain it was to own a rare car there (1966 Sunbeam Tiger - left hand drive dontchaknow) I can't imagine the patience you must possess to have such a wonderfully unique car like your 928's in Tasmania.

Enjoy and if you ever need a courier for parts delivery let me know

Congrats Dave, when I was told you were getting it I wondered what was taking you so long to post about it. Fantastic looking car.

Dave,

GREAT FIND. So glad this beauty will now be in a real enthusiasts hands. It'll probably still be like new in 15 years with you taking care of it. ENJOY.

Spent a few days in Hobart about 5 years ago in March. Weather wasn't great then either!!

Best wishes mate,

Gary Knox

Others have said they were green with envy, jealous, I am going to go straight to hate.

Lucky bastage....................

Very pretty car and to own the only car of its type on a continent is pretty special.

Congradulations.
All those 1995 GTS are so unique!
I love all 928s but when it is a 1995...
Nice buy.
Thanks for sharing.

I am gobsmacked! How did you find a manual GTS? I have been looking for one! How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? Lovely lovely car!

Awesome score! Let's see:

Last model year - check
5 speed - check
Beautiful rare color - check
Low number of owners - check
Excellent condition - check
Reasonable mileage - check

Those are the ones that make your heart beat faster when you find out they're for sale. That's an incredible find and I'm glad it's in your hands now. Congrats!

David - But it’s a 5 speed - what went wrong on the deal???
I thought you had bought a decent car with a rogerbox. Not a – dam I missed another gear – slush box 5 speed.
Love the color.

Congratulations my friend that has to be the “crème de la crème”.

Rogerbox ... Schmogerbox ... I'll decide what gear I want to be in. I'll have to teach you how to drive a real car sometime.

But seriously ... thanks Roger ... I value your friendship.

Thanks also to everyone else .... I look forward to meeting some of you when I get over to the US.
