good work.my car is near identical to yours,same amazon green too.did you get the injectors in since? any news on the running?

Mines actually moss green. Injectors are in. Some were a real bear to get out of the intake tube. I had to use an impact gun and a socket used for removing damaged lug nuts. I still have some other stuff to do before I test it.

All the plugs should look like 2, 3 and 4, with 2 and 3 being spot-on: some carbon on the outside and a light tan center electrode. My vote is 6 has no fuel if it was dry when pulled out after running the car shortly before. If it was wet, then no spark. Regardless, that cylinder is not doing anything. Number 8 is WAY too sooty - weak spark, maybe bad contact inside the distributor cap for that plug or corroded plug wire end or leaky wire and/or perhaps too much fuel. I don't like 1, 5 or 7 either. 1 looks wet. 5 and 7 center electrodes are sooty. Again, somewhat weak spark and/or rich fuel, but less so than 8.

speed read the whole tread its EPIC you are one determined man, hoping all works out for you,you definitely deserve it. update please! i also had trouble with 3 of my injectors trying to remove old ones to fit new MD ones 5 of mine unscrewed out normal the remaining 3 i tapped a 21 socket over the nut and removed that way wasn't too bad
