My best friend installed 2 of these last week, and he mounted the motors on the inside columns ran the hoses up to the ceiling and over. These things are great

New fittings came with new problems....

After installing the new fittings on the hoses and the hoses directly to the flow divider I saw a leak coming from the body of the flow divider (see pic). I am sure I did not over torqued the fittings because it was difficult to put a good torque on the fitting due to the threaded bolt of the divider body sticking out
Anxious to see Danmar answer for that one but I have to admit they were really good at fixing my first problem.......
I think I have used the lift only four times so far ....
About the new fittings, the modification installed only two quick disconnect fittings at the base of the two columns . The hoses are now fixed on the flow divider. The fittings received are of a good quality , Dixon type, with a better spring effect when removed....

Exactly three hours after my "E" mail to Maxjax I've receive a phone call from a very nice gentleman name Gabe and he is sending me a new flow divider and told me it is not suppose to crack even if you over tight the fittings.... The after sale service is pretty good but I'm still waiting to get a good working tool ;-) Hope yours are working fine, J.P.

Great news!

I'm happy with mine.

Disappointment comes from not having enough time to do needs-the-lift projects. Part is due to project travel duty cycle, other is that every undercar project gets stretched by all the cleaning time needed. It took me a few hours just to change the oil. (!!!) My ATF service is up on the list for soon, and I'm thinking that I might just head off a lot of that cleaning time with a few cans of engine cleaner under the back, folowed by a rinse, then up on the lift for final polishing and waxing of the transmission.

It's not an addiction I tell you! It's not it's not it's not!

After that though, the brake rotors are getting replaced, calipers painted with new hoses installed, etc.

New springs arrived from DR, so that goes on the list too.

A monster's work is never done, even if it is so convenient with the lift. Future buyers beware! Slippery slope ahead!

Great news Flip! I haven't disconnected my quick releases yet since the car is up and awaiting caliper return from the PC shop. Seems like it's been up there forever, and there is still stuff to clean lol!. I'm hoping to get 'er done (and down) by next week.

I see that the MaxJax has become popular
Here is a link to mine. I had no problems except for some fuzzyness about the motor wiring as we have 220volts in Europe. I ignored the suppliers instruction and used the info on the motor itself which was good enough if you take your time to understand. It came in 110v configuration so I had to change it....
I'm totally happy with the lift. Should have done this years ago.

I gotta get one of these. Wasnt thinking ahead when I built
my garage in '98. Im not sure if my floor is good enough. I think the Neanderthal(no insult intended to that long gone 'community)that built my addition took some short cuts. No rebar;he used the fiberglass reinforced mix.
