What is this extreme low mileage worth?

I would not classify it as EXTREME low mileage... There is a 326 mile '89 GT out there, a couple of 6k-ish mile GTS's, an OB with 1500 miles, Kermit (though now in Germany) with 1429 and it is a '78 and my BLUE82 with 3702 miles...
I talked to these guys probably a year ago or more and they were talking $35k-$40k and I told them they were DREAMING back then. They told me they had an offer of $30k I told them they better take the money and RUN if that were true. I don't think $25k is to much and feel like that might well be right in line with true value, not so much $35k though!
The REAL question is WHAT IS IT WORTH TO YOU?! No one else matters when it comes to YOUR money and YOUR purchases! It has obviously NOT been worth $35k to ANYONE!

James, that is super low miles for a 25 year old car, no matter how you slice it.
It's worth every bit of $35k if someone is willing to pay it. I hope he gets it too.

I guess you are right Sean...just more than a handful of even lower mile cars out there. I too hope he gets EVERY PENNY OF $35k, but that seems unlikely. If he does then BLUE82 must be a $50k car...HA! That will be the day! Actually it could happen...I have been watching some of the auctions and chasing classic cars...anything is possible!

Then again, I'd not let mine go for less than $20k.

I agree with Sean. That Philly car seems every bit worth the $35K to me too, and I hope he gets it. But, as James points out, it's been for sale for a long time, and nobody has ponied up for it so far. Kermit took a few years to sell for the value put on it by Chuck. I think that's how these things go. sit tight and wait, and eventually you'll hit close to your mark if (and this is a big if) the car is one of the few exceptional ones out there.

Good news on extreme low-miles cars like Kermit is that there is no real maintenance on them beyond cleaning them. You don't dare drive them for fear of losing that new-car look/feel/value that only comes with extreme low miles. They sit in the climate-controlled garage/showroom, covered, until the boys come by to oooh and aaah, or the transporter comes to get it to move it to a show someplace.
This one doesn't quite come to the Kermit no-miles standard, but if you plan on driving it much the first miles are going to feel really expensive. PO on my car chewed through a little over 20,000 miles at almost $7/mile all-in costs for his eight years of caretaking duty. I'm down to a little over $2/mile all-in costs. The savings come from no significant depreciation left, and my barely-adequate ability to do my own work on it so far.
