Uh, yea.

Congrats Darien! I love the wheels too.

What year is it?
Do you know if the IMS issue was mitigated?

She just turned 64K and seems to be un-molested and in great condition. The PO installed those wheels and the more I learned about them, they will stay on the car. It's got the 6 speed tranny which will be fun...I plan on driving it daily.
Tranny's and Bi's and...

Car looks great-drive it fast and in good health. I'd swap the wheels with the 928

I've thought about doing this, but I am scared about ISB problems. One nice thing about 928 is that at this point we know where all the serious issues and have fixes for all of them. Maybe I am obsessing about the ISB thing, though.

There are fixes for the ISB too, it's just that they are not easy to do. Not a job for the weekend wrench.

Darien - love the car. You don't see many red ones in the 996 and up models either. They are mostly black or silver. I really love the red.

Curious they put silver accents inside the front grill only... the way they like to coordinate color combos, the mirrors and other bits would be silver also.

Any plans to modify it in any way?

It is amazing to me how current the 928 still looks sitting next to a car almost 20 years newer. Your GTS mirrors help a lot but it is such a timeless design. Two great looking cars you have there!

ISB? Do you mean IMS failure?

Nice pair there D! Lookin' good! I agree with Jeremy, you never hear folks saying 928's look old and seeing one parked next to a "new" Porsche really brings it home...they ARE still modern looking, despite having been designed in the EARLY '70's!
