Default And you thought 928 parts are expensive

On a $$$ per horsepower basis this is just a bit crazy, pricewise.....how many decent OB's could be bought for this amount? Just completely nutso in my book.....

Different strokes for different folks. But, 57 lbs is a LOT of weight loss.

That's about the same price as OEM headers for a Ferrari 355.

Not a good reason why I know this.

Oh no; you fell victim to cracked manifolds? What was your replacement choice?

Not yet, they were replaced with new factory manifolds about 4k miles before my father purchased the car.

When I had the engine out I cut off the factory heat shielding and had the bare SS manifolds coated by Swain Technologies. I made extra heat shields for the motor mounts, starter, and alternator.

So far so good.......

Before my 360: "Wow that's expensive!"

After buying my 360: "Meh... In line with associated costs"

Having an F-car throws your expectations of reasonable out the door.

A local 928er just recently picked up a $32k 328 Ferrari, and after getting it road ready it is now a $70K car... So many parts are at "nosebleed prices".
Ferrari parts can make new 928 parts look dirt cheap.
