Do you get flat spots on your tires?
Since I don't drive my 928 very often, I tend to get flat spots on my tires that make the car shake like a wet poodle for the first 10 miles or so. Then it usually gets better, but the older the tires, the more persistent the problem seems to be.
I'd like some input on whether you have this issue, and how you deal with it.

to deal with it drive the car more or buy new tires.
any tire will take a set and with some heat will usually return to a concentric condition.
the other option is to lift the car off the ground so the tires are clear of the floor

I get the since I only drive my car once a week. I also need new rears though too. The fronts feel like they are round still even after sitting in the garage.

Well here's what I do. When I store the car for the winter, I overinflate the tires to counteract the flat spot issue. I have not had the problem of flat spots as a result.
Also, I have heard that keeping the wheels off the ground for extended periods of time may be good for the tires, but bad for the suspension. When my car is going to be up for a long time, I pull the wheels to relieve some of the load from the suspension. Anyone have a thought on that?

Just need to get some heat in the tires and they should come back. Here in the frozen north, our cars regularly sit for months. But after a spirited ride, things are usually fine - unless you managed to his a pothole and dented a rim!

With newer tires on and sitting over the winter (October till April feels like winter in the North),first day of driving may feel it but it goes away.If the cars sitting for a month don't really feel anything.Look at new cars how long the sit at on the lot some may sit for 6 months at a time. When I store the car I put the tires close to max pressure,it sits alot more than I drive it,it may see 1000 miles or so a season now.

I do not have a problem with the tires getting flat spots from sitting to long. I store my car for 5 to 6 months each year due to the Vermont winters beings brutal, with extreme cold and way over a hundred inches of snow every season. When I store the car the tires ar at 42 PSI. I have the car on a set of tire cradles that provide a curved surface that matches the outside diamater of the tires. I could not tell you if strorage without the tire cradles would result in flat spots

I inflate the tyres to 45psi, and once a week move the car to another position so it,s not standing on the same area of tyre.
Worked well for more time than I care to remember, although in twenty years I have changed the rubber.
