Even though it's not '86.5, it's got heated seats and a 5-speed w/ LSD. Worth every penny.

Wonder how old the T-belt is ???? I was looking at a 92 Mondial T with 18,000 miles....still has the original belt. The owner started the car for me I really did not want to drive it with the old T-belt . Just kept thinking how much the valve work would add to the cost since they wanted $7,000 for the major service as it was.

I think its this one. Seemed at one point there was a similar 2nd car, too, also in PA area.
Word at the time was a used car dealer bought it at charity auction for low teens.
Brought it to Mason for review.

Wow if that picture is any indication that car is well preserved. Even has the factory marks on the bolts for the brace and factory clamps on the intake .. Where is that lottery ticket !!

Oh no, not again! Poor car should stop being bounced around back and forth by greedy dealers and find a permanent home. From what I remember from last time this car came up, the only work done on the car was an oil change. Anyone want to take her on a 150mph test drive with a 25 year old timing belt? "Fuzzy Dice Motors" will roll the dice with you. You gotta be F'n kidding me....Fuzzy Dice??!!!...please

If you really think about it... restoring any 928 to this condition would cost about as much as they are asking. In that sense, they are not out of line.
Whether they will find a buyer willing to pay the price is a whole other issue.
