Default $6500 1990 928 on CL Sacramento

Looks like a steal,

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/2292757487.html

"This one is a peach, and a head turner! 2nd owner, and I babied this ride, no crazy driving and the prior owner was the original owner and older couple, they bought it originally from the dealer I bought it from. Red with Beige interior, 94k Original miles. Power steering, windows, seats, brakes ABS, ,moon roof, door locks, mirrors, cc. Leather seats, air bags, both sides, rear spoiler. 5speed auto, New Trans, drive tubes, water pump(standard when replacing the timing belt), new timing belt and Audi/Porkensioner tensioner (Look it up) and all other belts, MAF, brakes, allignment, new tires, fuel induction service, porting of intake manifold (cleaning), ignition switch, turn signal relay, sunroof cables, speedo sensor, windshield,(all the aformentioned dealer replaced), hood and hatch shocks, passed CA smog with flying colors, got to love the old way of keeping CA air clean, new Interstate battery and other misc. items. This was my dream car, with a large hick up from a job loss. Dealer spent $7106 in 2009, before I bought it for 10k, I have put 5k into it, and put maybe 3k on the OD since then, I hate to see it go, and my wife can't wait to see it go, but must sell. Original paint is in really good shape, garaged and covered."

His wife must be desperate. If the PPI came out clean, this is a really nice deal.

Is it really an automatic. heck, for $7k I would want it. I could justify it by saving gas vs my tahoe over 5 years!

Hopefully it isn't, someone will pick up a really nice one for that price.

TIME.....I paid less than $ 2,000 for the old very brown 1980 nearly 10 years ago. It should be no surprise that today S-4 cars are ALSO not worth very much to the average individual. If you want a reality check roll into a dealer and ask to trade one in......now THAT is really shocking !!

Odds are this is a Rennlister's car, given it has a Porkensioner, and the intake appears to be recently painted (plus the description refers to intake work).

Plus the wheels are on the right way round
