Yes, and maybe another $250 for the belts, hoses (they come off anyway), incidentals.

$2000 to $2500 - ish

Late 86 vin, too.
Does that make it the pre-S4 release, with the S4 front suspension and big brakes?

With the 86.5 brakes, no rubs, LSD diff, 5 sp, and decent condition, it looks like a keeper for a meticulous owner.

bid to win.

I would hold off bidding until you confirm that the pliers aren't missing from the factory tool set.

3 hours to go. Just starting your research? Not trying to be a dick but the heat of the auction makes you vulnerable; good luck.

Went to j***e2, with feedback of 2; is that you? wasn't that the BIN? Hmmmmm.

I was helping a friend who had interest. I was asking the questions to all of you to validate my answers I had given him already.

When bidding went past $16k, I told him to hold off and look for an S4 or GT.

A bidder who has only two is always concerning. He bid it up along with someone with only 10.

My 86.5 / 5 Speed / RH 18" wheels sold for $11K with 41K miles. All maintenance had been done & well documented - had a minor parking lot accident with good repairs/paint @ left fender / front spolier - no complaints at this price! Thats a nice car your buddy is looking at, but $16K is pushing the upper limits...

Surprise, surprise! The bidder was a deadbeat. However, the seller wants $18k for the car.
